FORUM GUIDELINES [READ FIRST]

Forum Guidelines

Welcome to the Silkroad Online discussion forums. This forum is here to provide you with a community where you can discuss all the areas of Silkroad Online with users from all over the world. Forums work best when posters treat their topics and their replies with respect for what is said and who it is said too.

In addition to the Privacy Policy, User Agreement, and Operation Policy at the bottom of this website here are some good to know guidelines. Keep in mind that this guideline technically falls in line with the Privacy Policy, User Agreement, and Operation Policy and it is here to avoid any mishaps and misconceptions.

1. General Discussion
General Discussion can be very vague, but this section is for threads just about Silkroad Online. Off topic posts will be deleted and user/s may be punished if done repeatedly.

2. BUMP
Please avoid bumping posts. This will be considered spam and contributes nothing to the topic, your thread will be noticed, and the bump posts deleted, or the entire thread deleted if done repeatedly.

3. Arguments
Threads or posts that bring up arguments in excess and are nonconstructive or inflammatory will be locked/deleted. There are other places you can go to argue and complain in this manner.

4. Moderated Threads
Do not post about locked, deleted, or edited threads. Posts that are moderated have a reason behind the moderation. We usually lock, delete, and/or edit threads without explanation, posting why is for your consideration only.

5. Contacting Joymax
Posting topics that you would like a Forum Moderator or Game Master's reply will not help solve your inquiry. If you have an issue that the GM's or Mod's should look at then send it through the Bug Report in detail, the customer support section, or post it in the proper subforum.

6. Bug Report
If you want to report an issue with the server such as lag, illegal programs, or inappropriate language than please send a detailed message through the Bug Report and a GM will look at it.

7. Account Recovery
Please go to عفوا ,,, لايمكنك مشاهده الروابط لانك غير مسجل لدينا [ للتسجيل اضغط هنا ] to secure and recover your account. Also check the Sticky, How do I change my password?, for reference.

8. Post Cool Down
There is a cool down time for posting on this forum, this is to prevent any spam or forum abuse and it will not change.

9. Relevant Topic
Please address the subject of your posting with the relevant topic. Posts regarding other players, Joymax staff, or topic starter posts that includes just a link or advertising other sites will be deleted without notice.

Example:
Bad - I have an issue morningdew please Help!
Good - I have a C9 Error
Bad - I have a character question
Good - What's better for my character, the Fire or Cold trees?
Bad - Login issue, come quick!
Good - I got a server inspection error, anyone else?


10. Posting Language
Please do not swear or use offensive or vulgar words, respect users of all ages who post here. We will edit/delete posts if we notice inappropriate language and user/s will be punished if they continue to do so. And PLEASE DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. Or A mIxTuRE oF uPPeR aND LowErCaSe LeTTeRs. This hurts the eyes and slows everyone down when reading your posting.

[Arrow] Lastly please use English only in your typing, as it makes moderating the forums very difficult in other languages as Joymax does not have representatives of every language. If a moderator cannot understand a post in a foreign language, it will be subject to deletion.
